يقع على ضفة نهر تشيترال المجاور لقلعة تشيترال، وقد كان المسجد الرئيسي في تشيترال في وقت وجود ولاية شيترال.
وقد تم بناؤه بأمر من سمو شجاع الملك عام 1924.
